Well this has been the hardest few weeks. As you all know I CANNOT keep a secret so as you can imagine I've bit my tongue so much it should be bleeding. On Tuesday December 13th, I realized that I had missed my period so I came home to take a pregnancy test and as you can guess from this title is was positive!!! I came downstairs where James was cooking dinner to ask him if he had gotten a raise? When he said no, why I told him that maybe he should ask because our household expenses were going to go up! We were both totally surprised and excited at the same time! So the next morning I called and made an appointment with Dr. Baker to confirm and find out what to do next. We don't want to tell anyone until after this appointment.
To top it off I have seen my mom and sister on Thursday to go to TCT for A Christmas Carol with the girls. Then Bean and mom were here all weekend. So needless to say I have had to keep the impossible secret! At one point on Sunday while Bean was upstairs I told James that Bean needed to leave or I was going to ruin the secret! Yesterday I went to Dr. Baker's office and she again confirmed that I was pregnant!! With an estimated due date of August 21st.
James and I have decided to tell our parents this weekend at Christmas! I'm so super excited to see their reactions and so excited that I've been having dreams about it! This might be one of the best Christmases thus far!!!
